Once a proud and powerfull race, the Centaurs are no longer the lords of the wild. Their numbers and spirit have been decimated by the continuous expansion of the men, so this whorty warriors have no other choice than to sell their strength has mercenaries for diferent nations.

It is unknown if the centaurs learn the ways of the romans, or the romans copy the tecniques of the centaurs. The only well known fact, is that during Caesar's campaing in Galia, a legion of centaurs serve under his command. This legionaries are recluted from one of the last wild centaur tribes in the deep of the gaul forest. As the regular legionaries, they are disciplined, fully armored soldiers, specially good against infantry. They main advantage that this units provide, is that the are almost as fast as regular cavalry, but unlike them, can beat up most infantry.

The Legionary Centaurs trow their pila at the begining of the battle, and then switch to the gladious for close combat.
